Mirabell Palace has a story attached to it. It was built in 1606 for the Prince-Archbishop’s mistress, with whom he sired 15 children.

In subsequent centuries, that palace was fire-damaged, redesigned and now re-appropriated as the offices for the regional council. Cast your eyes across the ornate Baroque architecture in and outside the palace, then stroll the grounds.
