Salzburg’s Museum der Moderne Mönchsberg (MdM) consists of two buildings in two spectacular locations:

The Rupertinum is situated at the heart of the historic part of Salzburg and the museum is on Mount Mönchsberg. MdM Mönchsberg is also worth a visit simply to enjoy the sensational view across the old part of the town of Salzburg. The two MdM Salzburg buildings offer around 3000 m² of exhibition space for art from the 20th and 21st centuries. It is also the home of the Austrian photo gallery and features over 17,000 photographic works.
