Sky, cerulean, azure … it’s a festival of blue!

Light reflects every shade of the coolest colour as it strikes the famed tiles of this mosque, one of the most celebrated in Islam.

The mosque itself is situated in a larger complex, which includes a covered bazaar, Turkish baths, public kitchens, a hospital, schools, a caravanserai, and the mausoleum of Sultan Ahmet.
