Built in "neo-Liberty" style (and concrete) to revitalise the metropolitan context of Milan and as a symbol of the economic growth after the war, the Velasca Tower was nicknamed the "skyscraper with suspenders". It is located in the south of the Cathedral in the square with the same name.
